Forget Me Not Family Society

Forget Me Not Family Society is a provincially registered, non-profit society and a federally registered charity, (88908-4869-RR0001). Tax Receipts are issued for donations to our Society. The FMN was formed for education, consultation, peer counseling and to offer support to all those touched by adoption. Our only source of income is through membership fees, fundraising and donations. These funds go directly towards printing, postage, telephone, office equipment and supplies.

Surrey Support Group

Surrey Support Group Discontinued:

Since starting in January 2006 (4 1/2 years ago), the Surrey Support Group for adopted adults has met faithfully every month, with the exception of July & August. When the Surrey group started, there was only the New Westminster group as an alternative meeting. Currently, there are open groups going strong in Cloverdale and New Westminster, and the Adoptees' Association also offers a discussion group for adopted adults in Vancouver.

Cloverdale FMNFS Support Group

A new support group will be starting January 7th, 2010 in Cloverdale. This meeting will be the first Thursday of the month, and run year long except for the months of July and August. It will be held at the public library in Cloverdale, 5642 – 176 A Street, second floor from 6:30 – 8:30. This meeting is open to adoptees, birth/natural parents and adoptive parents.
