The Forget Me Not Family Society is pleased to present another weekend with Joe Soll, October 24, 25, & 26, 2008.  This weekend most likely be taking place at Douglas College in New Westminster, B.C. located at 700 Royal Avenue.  There is ample parking, as well as easy access to public transportation.

Joe Soll is an adoptee, author, therapist and the director of Adoption Crossroads in New York City, a non-profit organization that helps reunite and give support to adoptees, birth/natural parents, as well as to help those adoptive parents who are willing to learn about the trauma adoptees and their parents have suffered.

This weekend will start with a support group meeting on the evening of Friday October 24th, followed on Saturday by an all day workshop entitled " Reunions and Expectations............ What to do about them?"  Immediately following the workshop will be another support group meeting.  A final support group meeting will be held on Sunday morning, early enough for those that need to travel home to be able to do so with plenty of time, or to allow for some sight -seeing of the area.

We are currently working on the cost for the weekend, details will follow.  For now I am needing numbers of those interested.  I have had several who attended our 2006 workshop with Joe Soll contacting me for information about when we would be offering another weekend.  I would appreciate it if you could get back to me no later than June 9th.  Below you will find an outline of the weekend.   For more information, contact Marnie Tetz at marnietetz@shaw.ca
