Australian P.M. apologizes for forced adoptions
Submitted by admin on April 2, 2013 - 3:33amJULIA Gillard today issued a national apology to mothers and children who suffered from forced adoption practices. Australia is the first country in the world to openly address and apologize for their forced adoption policies and practices.

AAC On YouTube
Submitted by admin on July 27, 2009 - 1:21amAt long last (and after several technical difficulties,) the first two of the AAC videos are live on YouTube – today! We currently have two slideshows on YouTube with two more to come in the fall. Currently, “Adoption & Truth” about adoptees’ need to know where they come from, and “Birth Mothers Never Forget” are posted. We will announce that they are live in The Beacon on Friday but I wanted to make sure you knew in advance of the official announcement.

Submitted by admin on March 16, 2009 - 5:01amWe would like to thank everyone who participated and voted on our most recent poll asking what message you felt that celebrities who adopt children internationally were sending.
We had a total of 58 votes, and here are the results:
- Both (Adoption is Ok and Natural Families Don't Matter) - 66% (38 votes)
- Adoption is Ok - 29% (17 votes)
- Natural Families Don't Matter - 5% (3 votes)
We also had 11 comments on the survey, and will continue to keep the comments of the survey open for anyone to continue discussing the subject.
